SmartBiz has participated in Beauty and Wellness Expo from 17 to 21 Aug 2023. Many potential customers visited our booths to discuss business possibility. They appreciated our development team for oir our winning product O2O C3C, and newly developed modules O2OCX (POS solution).

SmartBiz was invited to attend a special talk by Hon. LegCo Member Duncan Chiu. Duncan has explained the evolution of MetaVerse including Web 3.0, blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFT, and etc. Duncan highlighted opportunities and pain-points of MetaVerse for investors and developers in the future.

Adrian Cheng, Executive Vice-chariman and Chief Executive Officer, New World Development, said green tech set to redefine “New Normal” after the epidemic. Mr Ben Wong, Assistant General Manager, New World Development,  has introduced the development of Green Tech and its applications in K11 Musea. Besides ArTech, Mr Wong shared his experience on venture capital. He also highlighted the importance of co-founders of start-up for investors to consider.

SmartBiz has completed 5-days Beauty and Wellness Expo in HKCEC.  It is a good experience to introduce our winning O2O C3C winning product to the product.  SmartBiz has received a lot of enquiries and business consultation needs. At the same time, Ir Prof. Spencer Li expressed his sincere thanks for HKTDC organizer, government officials like Under-Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Dr Bernard Chan, LegCo Member Peter Shiu, and friends to visit our booths.

It was meaningful for our young staffs to have a conversation with the two dignitaries, Jasper Tsang Yok-Sing, GBM, JP and Hon. LegCo Member Dr. Johnny Ng Kit-Chong, MH. Our staffs have asked several questions about the talent retention policy and entrepreneurship incubation programs of Hong Kong and mainland China. Further, Jasper Tsang,GBM, JP has also appreciated one of our interns for his goal in medical technology. Hope our interns had an amazing time.

It is our honour to invite the ex-Secretary for Innovation and Technology,  Alfred Sit Wing-hang, GBS, JP, Peter Yan, JP, CEO of Cyberport, and Francis Ngai, VP and Honorary Secretary of HKCS to share their visions and experience on STEM. They not only shared their successful journey with us but also introduced the entrepreneurship opportunity of innovation and technology in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area of mainland China.  Our interns should have a better view in entrepreneurship now.

This was visit to ASTRI organized by HKCS and HKRTIA.   A lot of sharing on AI in Digital Marketing and Smart Sales which were good for SmartBiz to cooperate.   ASTRI is HK’s Government-mandated and the largest applied technology research institute.
